Large axial flow compressor must keep cleaning in whole time, in order to reach the demand, people has to install an inhaler in the entrance of main fan to fulfill the standard of dust thickness and granularity. The large flux of main fan demand inhaler has large filtration area and high efficiency of dust cleaning to protect the compressor. The average influx is generally more than 1000m3n/min.

Ⅰ OPERATING PRINCIPLE AND STRUCTURE DRAWING

KLA16 INHALER is made of Persian blinds and dust cleaning system. The main function of Persian blinds is keeping the big mass dust in air away by inertia strength; afterwards fanner at the bottom of inhaler deletes the dust. Convolute dirt catcher is mainly made of filter material, filter material enlacing system and auto control system. The first cleaning air through filter material, the dust will be absorbed by it and the air will be cleaning again. When the accumulated dust increase to certain quantity that could bring some resistance,the detector sets in the front and behind will drive the filter material enlacing system to change new filter material, after that the pressure descend, the system stop working, all filter material updating work completed, then new filtrate begin. Structure of Catalytic Fan Filter

In the front of draught entrance there is a net, which could filter the large-grained in air. When the air enters into the draught entrance, the dust in air follows into dust tube directly and out through glancing fan. Filtrated air spread equally after leading by wind guide plate. Filter roller is used for deposit and release the clean filter cotton roll. According to the strength of wind, the filter machine could be adjusted and reclaimed the blocked filter cotton. If the filter machine works in fail then the negative pressure door would be open to work automaticlly. Filter shell is designed as a cone structure which increases the areas of draught entrance and filter cotton. Air outlet is vertical with filter cotton, which could reduce air resistance and let the airflow be equality spread when through the filter cotton.

II THREE IMPROVEMENTS OF FILTER：

（1）Adding more draught entrances and enlarging filter cotton area to reduce air resistance. Increasing space of plenum and extending distance between draught entrance and filter cotton, which will let air through filter cotton be equally. Increasing more filter cottons to improve the efficiency.

（2）Plenum of roll set could prevent dust going into fan directly when maintaining roll set and filter cotton or changing components.

（3）Reclaiming of fence and 304 stainless steel materials improves the service life of roll set. Please find the showing in the drawing as below, fence is made of stainless steel tube, which could improve whole equipment intension and reduce moving resistance of filter cotton and also save driving power.

Quick Disassembly Gearing

Roll set adopts gear worm reducer driving, the virtue is when equipment working in fail or stop, it could prevent roll set reverse to lead filter cotton loose out. Roll set is supported by rolling bearing, it reduces resistance and avoids lock of shaft. Roll bearing structure is adopted to reduce moving resistance, also supports redirection-supporting roller; At bottom of supporting foundation we design one set adjustable support to assure the axiality of whole equipment; Reel is easy to disassemble by hand and reduce labour intensity.

Ⅲ. SETUP AND OPERATE PRINCIPLE OF ELECTRIC APPLIANCE

Wind resistance control is realized by positive and negative gravity head control of differential pressure meter, which tests and controls gear worm reducer; renews filter cotton and helps to depress resistance of filter. People could observe negative press from electric appliance room and reset upper and lower limit by hand.

Dust proof fan starts to clean the filter upon filter is working. When press meter realise negative press is over than –300Pa, gear worm reducer in roll set will roll the blocking filter cotton into it and pull clean cotton automatically; when press meter realise negative press is less than –25Pa, it will stop to working and roll set will stop running to keep filter running normally. Each machine has short and overload protective devices.
